He has filed many thousands of cases under both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. G. Timothy Dearfield studied law at Capital University and was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 1988. He has been the owner of Dearfield Law Firm, LLC in its current form since 2011. Prior to that, he was the majority owner in the law firm Dearfield, Kruer and Co.
Matthew Dearfield, Esq. is the associate attorney in Dearfield Law Firm, LLC. He was admitted to practice law in Ohio in 2018 after graduating from the University of Dayton School of Law. During law school, Matthew focused on practicing in the areas of consumer bankruptcy law upon graduation He was able to obtain an externship with the Honorable Judge Guy R. Humphrey, the sole bankruptcy judge out of the Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Ohio at Dayton to further the study of bankruptcy. Since being admitted to practice law, Matthew has represented numerous consumer debtors in both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.
